I purchased this pot and other Scanpan cookware several (3-4) years ago. After about a year the "miracle" Titanium coating started to peel and flake off, just like the cheaper brands on the market we are all familiar with. NO where in the packages was any information about "who to contact" for warranty service. The pain of the high price paid for these inferior products will last longer than the cookware will. Don't be duped, and don't buy Scanpan. Disappointment awaits if you do.

If you are looking for the perfect saucepot to make spaghetti sauce, chili or anything "saucy" this is your pot. I use it with a splatter screen placed over the top and stir the sauce with one of those beautiful Exoglass Spoons that look like a wooden spoon, but never absorb any color from tomato sauces.
SCANPAN Titanium is made in Denmark. It is one of the best lines of nonstick cookware on the market. The pans have a Ceramic Titanium non-stick cooking surface and a Pressure-cast aluminum body.
These pans have heavy-gauge, perfectly flat bases and can be used on electric, gas, ceramic and halogen cook tops. All the cookware, glass lids, and the ergonomically designed handles are ovenproof to 500 degrees.

If you are tired of buying cheaper pans (that you eventually throw away), give this line a try. I have found that this is a very worthwhile investment and my cooking is much improved. I love the results I have been able to achieve with this set of pots and pans.
When I cook with SCANPAN Items I feel like a chef and my recipes take on a gourmet quality. Food browns more evenly and sauces are super creamy because of the even heat distribution. You will also love this set for cooking stews, making quick breakfasts (since nothing sticks you can use the same pan for many items, bacon, eggs and hash browns), gravies, frying steaks, one-dish meals and anything you can think of cooking. You can even start items on the stovetop and finish them in the oven.
Highly Recommended. I've been using these pans for years and have yet to find anything like this brand. I also love the 6-quart Dutch Oven.
