This product is perfect for meals for one or two people. I can brown meat and/or vegetables in the pan and then transfer it to the oven for roasting and deliver it to the table with a serving spoon. My only problem to date has been warming the pan, (receiving a telephone call that lasted over a half hour) and the pan and lid burned. The interior of the pan looks all right; however, it now tends to stick; and the interior of the lid is a copper color, Does anyone know how to clean the lid and make the pan stick proof again. Other than my absentmindedness, this has been the perfect pan for my household.

As long as you are preparing a meal for yourself rather than for a family, Caphalon's Nonstick 10-inch Everyday Pan is just the one you want to fry a small piece of meat or fish and a serving or two of veggies. Just a tablespoon of olive oil on medium heat is sufficient to saute the vegetables and later cook a serving of meat or fish. Another feature of this pan is how easily it cleans after it cools. Amazon sells it for a very reasonable $39.99. I really love this frying pan.I use it more than any other.

This is a great pan to use either on the stove top or in the oven. It fits nicely in the oven because there isn't a long handle (just two small handles on either side) like on some other brands of high end cookware. It washes up nicely, but keep in mind that this piece is not dishwasher safe (per the manufacturer). I have made chili, stew, and sauces in my pan, as well as scrambled eggs for a large group and browned different types of meat. I find I am using this far more than I thought I would.

I bought this nonstick skillet to complement a Calphalon Everyday Nonstick 10-Inch Omelet Pan that I bought on sale (check my review there for a tip on a matching glass lid). I have a similarly sized hard anodized professional skillet, but the convenience of a nonstick finish and glass lid was irresistible.



This is a good utility skillet for frying or cooking larger quantities of food. The better-designed Calphalon Contemporary see-through lid sits on the pan just right, and lets you check the progress of your food while sealing in flavor (and trapping aromas). (The less times you open the lid = better and faster cooking.) The silicone cover to the lid handle is a stroke of brilliance.



This pan also comes with an insulated silicone handle cover, which used to be an accessory item. Chalk that up as a value-add.



Cleanup is easy, just scrub out with warm water, mild soap and a nylon brush. Wipe dry and stow away. If the exterior accumulates burnt-on oil, try Calphalon's Dormond Cleaner with a gentle, nylon scrub pad. It's specially formulated for the hard anodized aluminum exterior.



Calphalon cookware will last for years if you take care of it. Don't scrub out with a Scotch Brite pad. Use a 3M two-sided dish cloth (microfiber) or similar Scotch Brite Dobie Pads for tough cooked-on food.



In all, a great value from the Porsche of cookware makers.

I have owned a set of Calphalon Cookware 5-6 years. I wore out the inside of my 10" fry pan so I bought this pan to replace the old one. This 10" Saute Pan is great but very heavy - a little deeper than my previous 10" frypan (saute pan). The words seem to get fancier - fry pan I understand!!



It makes more sense for me to buy individual pans that I need to replace the old and worn pans or pots than buying another complete set that is very expensive. Several of the pots/pans I very seldom use and they are like new.



Note: After years of use the finish inside the pans and pots get ragged and not so nice - this is a problem that I don't like. This reminds of the old Teflon pans that the teflon would wear away!! Ugly!!



The manufacturer should replace the used/worn out item because the pots and pans are expensive and are supposedly the best on the market. This problem, I feel is a manufacture defect.

This 10" nonstick "EVERYDAY" pan has truly become just that for me.

I live alone, so many of my meals are of a smaller amount (when I'm not cooking for the kids and grand kids). Whether for breakfast eggs or quantites of stir fry meals it acts as a fry pan as well as a small wok.

I am very pleased with this item and have had no flaking on the surface after four years of service. True, the handles get hot from the gas jet. That's why we use fire and not ice to prepare meals. But with a hot pot holder I can tip the pan and scrape out the contents into a bowl or onto a plate. With two pot holders I can give a quick shake and slip three eggs over the edge and onto a plate. Perfect for a single guy who enjoys a good meal.

This pan is just thick enough to have good, even heat retention, but yet not be too heavy. We replaced another aluminum, non-stick pan with this one, and we like it much better.

This is a great pan to use either on the stove top or in the oven. It fits nicely in the oven because there isn't a long handle (just two small handles on either side) like on some other brands of high end cookware. It washes up nicely, but keep in mind that this piece is not dishwasher safe (per the manufacturer). I have made chili, stew, and sauces in my pan, as well as scrambled eggs for a large group and browned different types of meat. I find I am using this far more than I thought I would.

This 10" nonstick "EVERYDAY" pan has truly become just that for me.

I live alone, so many of my meals are of a smaller amount (when I'm not cooking for the kids and grand kids). Whether for breakfast eggs or quantites of stir fry meals it acts as a fry pan as well as a small wok.

I am very pleased with this item and have had no flaking on the surface after four years of service. True, the handles get hot from the gas jet. That's why we use fire and not ice to prepare meals. But with a hot pot holder I can tip the pan and scrape out the contents into a bowl or onto a plate. With two pot holders I can give a quick shake and slip three eggs over the edge and onto a plate. Perfect for a single guy who enjoys a good meal.

I purchased this for a gift but own it myself too and it is my very favorite skillet. It is perfect for dinner for two and I use it in the oven as much as I use it on the stovetop. Put your meat and seasonings in the skillet, slice up some potatoes and add your favorite veggies and pop it in the oven at 350 for an hour and you have dinner. Cleaning is a breeze being non stick. I give it a 5 star rating. LOVE IT!!!

I have this pan and have been giving it as a wedding gift for about 10 years. It is the most useful pan in my cupboard - perfect for a 2 person family. I fix vegetables, stir fry, German pancakes, anything I can think of in it. I'm glad I can still get it at Amazon - Macy's no longer carries it except in a set of several Calphalon pans.
