All the Simply Calphalon products are excellent in design and quality of materials. The only thing we don't like is you can't put them in the dishwasher since that will damage the anodized outer finish. However, it's very easy to clean the saucepan after use, so this is not a reason to look elsewhere. Note: I put a 4 quart saucepan in the dishwasher several times, the finish was discolored, and then I applied olive oil to the finish and let it sit overnight. It seems to have worked. If you have the same issue, try a little olive oil.

Compared to my other Calphalon pans, this one is a disappointment. It will do, but I would not buy another in this series. It is much lighter weight and the handle...which many other people have mentioned and I thought was probably a minor deal...is unpleasant to touch. I find myself leaving this pan sit and reaching for others instead. I wouldn't recommend it.

I love this brand of cookware. It is truly non-stick and the non-stick properties last. I have had other items from this line for over a year, and love them. The size, weight and price of this pan is excellent. And I believe the brand is made by a USA company!

I bought the calphalon one set previously and like that-but this pot is rough on the inside-very heavy and of course, you cannot mash potatoes in it-I was disappointed in my purchase-altho the buying part of it was easy and very quick--

Pots and pans is more of a personal choice... but I found these work great. I have used them for a few months now and they still look brand new. I have a gas stove top and you can't see any burn marks, etc.



Non-stick works perfect - easy clean up every time. I like the added bonus of the grips on the handles as you can hold them and feel virtually no heat while they are on the stove.



Heat distribution seems to be fine.



I only wash them by hand, I have not tried to put them in the dishwasher as I am afraid it will damage them, besides, clean up is so easy, you can be done with it in no time.

This was a Christmas gift so we haven't used the pan often yet. The two times it has been in service, it performed very well. It's deep enough to hold sauces and soups without running out of room and the clean up is a breeze. The weight of the pan is what we've come to expect from Calphalon products too.
