Buy Cheap Calphalon Simply Calphalon Nonstick Hard-Anodized Aluminum 1-Quart Saucepan with Stainless-Steel Lid From Here Now!
The Simply Calphalon Nonstick Anodized line of cookware is an excellent alternative for those who prefer cooking on a nonstick surface and who desire Calphalon quality at a budget price. Perfect for single servings, this 1-quart saucepan cooks an individual portion of vegetable soup, puttanesca sauce, or quinoa.
Made of durable hard-anodized aluminum of uniform thickness, the pan is an excellent heat conductor and cooks food quickly and evenly. Its double-coated nonstick interior prevents food from sticking and makes cleanup easier. The pan has a contoured oval stainless-steel handle with a blasted satin finish that is comfortable to grip and is held in place by sturdy stainless-steel rivets. The contrasting brushed stainless-steel cover is slightly domed for steaming foods, offering more versatility to this pan. This saucepan is oven-safe up to 375 degrees F so you don't have to dirty several pans to make one dish. All cookware in this line is 100-percent dishwasher-safe (although cleaning with soap and water is recommended to maintain the nonstick finish) and is covered by a 10-year warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

My mother had a cookware melt down one evening almost in tears with a pitiful monologue how she hated her cookware but was to cheap to go out and buy the high end cookware that she really liked. Boom! Amazon to the rescue! I had spied this pan months back while shopping for the most ideal cookware(I'm a Mechanical engineer who thinks analyzing heat transfer is as much fun as one could have in a classroom) and this Sauce pan is much like the one's I destroyed of her's years back(though the frying pan man re-coating people were terrific covering up those mistakes)
This sauce pan is so light, durable, and dynamic for cooking it gets used often twice a day. The handle design is remarkably pedestrian though? It doesn't lend good area to support a full pan and if there is oil on the handle could be dangerously slick. It's obviously a cast handle so what were they thinking when they selected this design for the pot's handle??? At least they could have cast some more texture for the handle? I also purchased the All-Clad Stainless 1-1/2-Quart as a plan "B" which was critiqued then summarily shamed and dismissed, and returned to Amazon that same day it arrived. I come from a family of 5 boys who all believe they are food critics and do cook better than their wives, so it's a tough crowd... I cant say enough good about this Calphalon except the handle should not be as slick but what really matters in the big picture is my mom loves it! Game over!

I bought this little pan a year ago and have absolutely babied it--it has never seen a metal utensil or even a scrubbing sponge or brush, and if something cooks on, it gets a good soak before washing. But despite the care I have given it, the nonstick surface is failing, and when a nonstick pan fails, it releases toxic chemicals and must be thrown away. I have also had some of the regular Calphalon nonstick in that time, and it has fared much better than the cheaper Simply Calphalon line. But honestly, I'm switching entirely to the heavy-duty, not non-stick Hard Anodized line and some good old-fashioned cast iron. Don't bother with the Simply Calphalon line--it isn't made to last. If you must have nonstick, get the high-end Calphalon, there is a difference. And if you really want to be cost-effective, don't bother with nonstick at all--the hard anodized works wonderfully, it just needs to be preheated before you start cooking in it if you want a nonstick surface, something you cannot do with Teflon.

This saucepan is the perfect size and quality to do so many things. It is well made and I use it almost daily. I would strongly recommend it.

After very little use, the teflon has already worn off. Even though it was only $20, it should lasted at least a year. I've been using teflon products for years and never have had one go bad so quickly.

I was all excited that I was buying Calphalon, what I thought was a very high-end product. After I used and washed it for the first time (following the instruction pamphet), I noticed the side of the saucepan got stained by the oil I used. After one use, I would have expected the product to look brand new. It's okay but I am not wowed by the product.
