I love the new Calphalon One cookware! This 2-1/2 Qt. saucepan really completes my set (I already have 1 qt. & 4 qt saucepans). I like the glass lids - you can see how things are progressing. The only thing is you need to be careful with the nonstick interior (use only plastic or wood utensils; metal will scratch & lessen the life of your pans). Also, if you want a set to put in the dishwasher, these pans aren't it. They will last much longer if you hand wash them. So, if you want high quality cookware & don't mind hand washing, these are great! If you're more of a purist, go with the Calphalon One set without the nonstick.

These are expensive but you get what you pay for. Take of the nonstick surface by handwashing and this product will perform is advertised. If you have a powerful stove these heavy duty pans hold up. I also love the glass lid.

Several years I ago, I purchased a complete set of Calphalon COMMERCIAL Nonstick cookware with stainless steel lids. Unfortunately, I damaged the 2 1/2 quart pan this year. Apparently my previous line has been discontinued, and the closest replacement I could find was the Calphalon ONE Nonstick. Except for the fact that the Calphalon ONE Nonstick has tempered glass lids, I now wish that all my cookware was the newer Calphalon One. The nonstick surface is even better than the original COMMERCIAL line.
